Airslide
The airslide phase is a technique used to move the product forward while fluidising it on an air cushion. It is very economical (in terms of investment and in energy consumption)
How does it work?
Gravity makes the product move forward. It can therefore only drop. The speeds obtained can easily reach several hundred tonnes per hour
The airslide phase is used for:
- Fluidisable products
- High flows
- Medium distances
- Curved trajectories
The airslide phase should be avoided for:
- Trajectories without the possibility of a slope
